Was able to walk to this gem of a local bakery from our hotel. Everything is home made and authentic. Lots of locals were starting their work day. Very friendly and offered several suggestions of favorites. There were many savory as well as sweet options. The coffee was made to order and was fantastic. The staff really took care of us. Heated up our items and packed up some flan and empanadas for later. There was a basket of day old items for folks in need, which was great. Will be coming back again during our stay. Loved it and would give 10 stars if I could. It's a two minute walk to the beach to watch the sun rise, so the seating is fantastic.

Stopped in to Moises Bakery tonight for a sweet treat. It’s a small little bakery, reminds me of a locals place. Clean, welcoming and very busy!
The employees were very attentive to the customers and also kept tabs on who was next. The selection of pastries, filled breads; empanadas, rolls and the deli section was abundant. I wasn’t familiar with Venezuelan pastries so I tried something new. It was like a sweet sugar sprinkled bread stuffed with a delicious cream. Luciano was my server and she was extremely pleasant to speak with. I also had a small croissant that was topped with a delicious cream.
If you enjoy pastries of all kinds, breads of all types stuffed with creams fruits or meats than you must put this quaint little spot on your list. You will not be disappointed! Though we are visiting I will be back for last bite before we fly out.
Again thank you Luciano for great customer service!

I can recommend El pan de Jamon Venezolano. It is pretty decent size for $35.

Loved loved loved everything! From our first step inside this place was awesome! The staff greeted us and answered all our questions. We bought so many goodies to try. Some we really liked and some were just ok, but nothing was not freshly made. Just personal preference. We bought both sweet and savory treats. They also had sandwiches of many kinds
The fresh squeezed orange juice was awesome too.
Thank you so much!

Moises Bakery is a North Beach classic nostalgia for a reason, and I've been coming here for years. Everything is consistently fresh and full of flavor, but the empanadas, croquettes, and colada are absolute standouts. The empanadas are perfectly crisp, the croquettes are rich and satisfying, and the colada is strong, smooth, and exactly how it should be. It’s the kind of spot that feels like a neighborhood staple. no frills, just great Cuban bakery food done right. Always a must-stop when I’m in the area.

A feel good bakery for sure. It has Latin fare but they specialize in Venezuelan goods. My friends from Venezuela rave about how authentic it is. Wide variety of empanadas including Venezuelan and Colombian and Argentina. All types of different flavors. Desserts galore. Some of the best tequanos and green sauce that I’ve ever had. The coffee is also fantastic and comes in a wide variety. Very affordable and friendly staff. A win-win.
